Europe – Nintendo confirms third party Club Nintendo codes, offers t-shirt bonus for early 3DS registrants

If you’re a European Club Nintendo member gearing up for the 25th of March, the official launch date of the new Nintendo 3DS handheld console, then we have some exciting news for you…

The first 3,000 people to register their new Nintendo 3DS hardware with Club Nintendo will receive – on top of the 750 Stars that every registrant of the Nintendo 3DS system gets – an individually numbered collector’s item T-shirt – with a design that might surprise you in more ways than one! If you’re not yet a member of our Club, no need to worry, you can sign up at our Club Nintendo page! Stock is limited to 3,000 T-shirts, so make sure you snap ‘em up before they’re gone!

Note: Final T-shirt design may differ slightly from image shown.

The good news Nintendo 3DS is bringing to Club Nintendo doesn’t end there! As well as Nintendo-published titles, Club Nintendo members will also be able to register Nintendo 3DS games by other publishers, for a whopping 250 Stars each!*

There are always brand new items arriving in the Stars Catalogue that you can trade in your collected Stars for, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Nintendo 3DS will be in shops March 25th 2011.

*Note that participation in the Club Nintendo programme is decided by the individual publisher. Visit our Games section to find out all current Nintendo 3DS titles that can be registered with Club Nintendo. For future titles please stay tuned to nintendo.co.uk.

With 10 days until the launch of Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition With 10 days until the launch of Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, we are pleased to release a new batch of screens, gameplay footage and a TV spot encouraging players to “take this outside”.

The game captures the console experience of Super Street Fighter IV, now in the palm of your hands. The full game is perfected for the 3DS with the added benefits of 3D entertainment, global and local WiFi matches, Street Pass functionality, a dynamic camera angle and more.

Pokémon PAX booth boasts upcoming TCG products: TCG Online, blister promos shown

The Pokémon Company International set up a booth at the recent PAX East convention in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States of America, showing off upcoming TCG products. The main attraction was the soon-to-be-launched TCG Online service, where players can battle using virtual cards over the Internet; video of the single player mode is viewable in this article. Hidden away was that of blister packs for the upcoming expansion Black & White. Both blister pack types will contain the same promos distributed in Japan as part of a partnership with UNIQLO.
