A user created this Pokémon Mod for Borderlands (PC only) so that when you can throw a Pokeball instead of grenade.
And rather then the expected “BOOM” (that goes with the grenade) said Pokeball releases one of ten different skags to fight on your side and they (the skags) already look sort of Pokemon-inspired.
Pokemon Smash has revealed that the Pokemon Black and White 2′s Starter Pokemon are Tepig, Snivy and Oshawott. Yes, that means that the Starter Pokemon in the new games will be the same as those in the original Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.
Ok, here is our first look at the new Pokemon Black 2 & Pokemon White 2 Nintendo DS games in this Japanese debut trailer. It looks AWESOME! Anyone pre-ordering this tonight? HA!!
Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will feature more than 300 Pokemon, including old Pokemon. That’s the big news from the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine which reveals all-new details on on the forthcoming DS games.
Joe Merrick Feedback:
Pokemon Black And White 2 seem truly amazing. While I was originally expecting a different region, due to the statements regarding N & Ghetsis at the end of Black And White, the inclusion of new areas in Unova is brilliant. Having said that, new areas had been hinted at in Black And White through the Battle Subway map.
Marti Bennett Feedback:
This morning I awoke to find my Facebook feed flooded with the images from the Japanese magazine CoroCoro featuring information on the new Pokemon Black And White 2 games.
To my joy, the story continues in the region of Unova (not Hoenn as many had speculated) and is set a couple of years after the original games. The map has been altered and half of Unova is now covered in ice!
I really like the look of the new trainers. Both male and female trainers have ditched the hats and gone for the sun visor look. I think this is probably because they have pretty crazy hair that wouldn’t fit under a baseball cap. In summery clothes, I think they might need to wrap up warmer to tackle the icy Unova region. There are a couple of new Gym Leaders. I really like the look of the Poison Type Gym Leader as she looks pretty crazy with her spiky white hair and electric guitar.
Photos/scans of this month’s issue of CoroCoro have leaked early, revealing the first substantial details for Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2.
(1st scan) The games are true sequels, taking place two years after the originals.
The Unova region sports new towns, buildings, locations, and Gym Leaders. New subway lines will take you to new places.
Half of the Unova map is covered by ice for unknown reasons.
The Pokedex features 300 Pokemon from every generation. So far, Psyduck is #026, Riolu is #033, Metagross is #254, and Eevee is confirmed but has an unknown Dex number.
Black Kyurem is confirmed to know Freeze Shock and White Kyurem is confirmed to know Ice Burn.
(2nd scan) There are two new protagonists along with a new rival. The rival has text saying, “Now I’m gonna get angry!” He’s the boy with the blue spiky hair. He is your childhood friend.
Homika is a new Poison-type Gym Leader. She’s the girl holding the guitar. She is going to be in an episode of the show in June.
Shizui is also a new Gym Leader who uses Water Pokemon. He’s the tan guy with the goggles.
There is a new “mysterious guy” named Akuroma who is studying Pokemon strength. Sometimes he’ll help you on your journey. He’s the guy with the glasses and white coat.
(3rd scan) You begin your journey in Hiougi City. It is on the map in an area that was previously uninhabited in the original games on the left side of Unova (the southwest side). It features an underwater tunnel made of glass (does it take you to the main region?). The city also sports a Pokemon Center, a Trainer School, and shops.
The magazine points out that there is new construction in the Resort Desert and that there is a new building with red and blue decorations. For the latter it says, “What’s it mean?”
