Do you think that the price of pokemon cards will go up over time?

|| Total Pet Supply

I have a few Pokemon cards when I was little, and I’m selling the test. But I’m not sure if their prices rise over the next 50 years. If you think so much? Thank you!

    I have a bunch of pokemon cards from when i was little too. However, I doubt that any of the original 150 pokemon cards will increase in value. The older cards that I’m assuming we both have are currently worth diddly squat. It’s all about the stupid new pokemon cards.

    collectibles like cards, usually take decades to increase a suitable amount. so you shouldnt have get rich quick in mind. it will take a long long time, that of course if it ever increases in value.

    i think pokemon will be worth something, they have quiet a legacy behind them, but like i said it will take decades. so most likely when your nearing retirement or already dead, your children may have some luck tho.

    same thing happened to 50 cent baseball cards. 7 year olds got paid when they were over 40.

    oh yeah! And if you have an original charizard consider yourself lucky! They are already $65-$75. The original 150 pokemon will be worth more than the new ones. Thats because they are the ORIGNAL! Originals are all ways worth more

    Yes it will, just read the Beckett Pokemon Magazine, it tells you the value of each individual card as well as a complete deck. It also will tell you if the price went up/down/same recently from the last issue of their mag.

    If you have a mint condition 1st Edition Holographic Charizard from Base Set, you have the rarest Pokemon card in existence! I think you should sell some of your cards. Er…I have a question? How much did you plan on selling these cards for? Well, could you put them up for auction on eBay and E-mail me the link? I need a really good present for my sick brother who’s insanely in love with Pokemon. I am to, but he’s really sick! He has the flu and has had it for 8 days so far! You don’t have to if you don’t want to, but it would help him….

    Yes, however, it will take a long time (maybe 10+ years) for their value to go up.
