    @haloelitemaster360: He used Ash’s older Sinnoh team. Also, do you expect Pikachu to stay at Lv. 88 as he passes through entire regions?

    its red from red,yellow and blue the game takes place several years after the events of red yellow and blue . Red disbanded team rocket in those games and hes in this one as the finnal sort off epic face off between you and the pokemon master.

    @ Bulbaboi4444: First of all it is Red, not Ash because it has changed and modified since firered and leafgreen.

    @giancarloparimango11: The reason Snorlax survived is that it has very high defense than a lot of normal types. The only reason Blizzard did not miss is because you are in all-battle hail weather, which means continuous hail, and blizzard always hit in hail weather just like thunder and rain weather.

    have you morons read the books red started with bulbasaur ash started with pikachu u get it he got sinnoh pokemon so that doesnt mean hes ash he still red
