I just wrapped up Victory Road with my 8th badge in Black/White, so I’m going to need one more day to piece together that review. I just want to make sure I clear that area before I review. The Elite 4 will have to wait for another day, just like my review. On top of that, we have something much more important to talk about. You can check that out below. I’m sure I don’t need to tell any of you that Japan is going through a really rough time right now. Last week’s earthquake and subsequent aftershocks and tsunamis have devastated a very large area, left many homeless, and cost the lives of thousands upon thousands of people. There’s really no way to address the situation with the right amount of support for the Japanese people, simply because no combination or number of words can stop the pain.

As we saw earlier today, Japan’s business side is also taking a hit. The loss of lives is far more important than stocks going up and down, but that doesn’t mean that these are issues that can be shoved aside. The entire economy in Japan is going to have a tough road ahead, and it could very well take years to get any of this under control. The scope of this disaster is absolutely huge, and I hope that all of you have taken a few moments to think about just what our friends across the world are going through.

That’s why I wanted to take this ‘End of Day’ thought opportunity and turn it over to you guys. This is a place where you can leave your kind words for Japanese gamers, publishers, developers and the population at large. As I said above, no matter how much we talk about it we won’t be able to make the pain go away. With that said, opening our hearts and lines of dialog can often help those impacted breath a little easier. It can definitely help to know that people all over the world are there by your side, be it mentally or physically. To know that you’re on the mind of others let’s you know that people do care.
